Professor of Structural Systems Tecnology on the University of Florence, Faculty of Architecture.
Member of Italian National Architects Association.
Member of Greek National Architects and Engineers Association (T.E.E.).
Member on time of several national and international scientific bodies,
among them: C.E.B. (Comité Européen du Béton), E.E.R.I. (Earthquake
Engineering Reasearch Institute), DO.CO.MO.MO. (Documentation and
Conservation of buildings sitesband neighbourhoods of the Modern
Movoument), E.P.E.S. (Greek Scientific Association for Researches on
Concrete Structures), C.N.R. (Consiglio Nazionale delle
Ricerche-Italia).
More than one hundred researches - financial supported partially by
C.N.R. and M.P.I. as well as by private firms- on the field of
restoration and strengthening of masonry and reinforce concrete
structures.
Expert on the theme of diagnosis of static
as well as seismic damages of buildings, on Quality Managment Systems,
on the restoration field of historic buildings, on the advanced
materials (Fiber Reinforced Materials) used for structural
strengthening.
She planned different restored or seismic reinforced historical
buildings and reinforce concrete ones in Italy and Greece.
